何日君再来, originally uploaded by Ting 婷.

Went to the train station to shoot this scene. It was raining..... A very nice mood to test out my brand new Nikkor 24mm f1.4.

The most beautiful of flowers seldom bloom
The most alluring of landscapes are rare to come by
A tender smile by the throes of sorrow embittered
Tears speak of a torturous yearning

After we part tonight,
When will you come once again?
After we've finished the wine
Bring for us something to eat
How seldom it is for us to delight in such inebriation
But who knows when we might chance upon it again

(Spoken) Come, let us converse after the wine is finished

After we part tonight,
When will you come once again?

Drown our sorrows at this very moment*
As we raise our libations in cups of white jade
These words of parting offer us some comfort
Though the sentiments rest heavily upon our hearts

After we part tonight,
When will you come once again?
After we've finished the wine
Bring for us something to eat
How seldom it is for us to delight in such inebriation
But who knows when we might chance upon it again

(Spoken) Ah, let us toast once more

After we part tonight,
When will you come once again?

NOTE: keep in mind that "君" is a gender-neutral second person pronoun in Classical/semi-classical Chinese
